Thomas G. Dunn, an attorney at Dunn & Panagotacos LLP, died on September 12, 2017.

Tom graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1964. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, Tom completed his undergraduate program at USF in 1972 and achieved his law degree at Lincoln Law School in 1980.

Tom’s livelihood spanned two careers: first, as a San Francisco Firefighter, and second, as a trial attorney who was a proud member of ABOTA.  He enjoyed a strong intellect and keen self-awareness. Tom believed in the importance of the legal profession and that everyone deserved an advocate to fight for their cause. He did not shy away from tough cases and tried over 50 jury trials in his time.  Tom was known for his hard work, professionalism and his collegiality. While Tom worked for a few law firms over his 30+ year career, it was the last law firm he worked for that was special for both him and his son, Ryan. Tom joined Dunn & Panagotacos LLP in an of-counsel role and relished in the interaction with younger attorneys. Being able to practice with his son, Ryan was also a particular joy for both father and son.

Tom will be missed, but not forgotten.
