James G. Higgins

James Higgins is an experienced litigation attorney who specializes in construction and business disputes. He is well versed in all aspects of construction litigation, arbitration, and mediation as well as contract drafting, mechanic’s liens, defective construction, and insurance coverage. He has substantial experience advising owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and homeowners on public and private construction projects. Mr. Higgins has also represented clients in complex business litigation from a broad range of industries including financial institutions, real estate, telecommunications, health care, and energy. Before joining Dunn & Panagotacos LLP, he practiced at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and Thelen LLP. During law school, Mr. Higgins served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Martin J. Jenkins, United States District Court, Northern District of California.
